Below are some kind words from just a few of my past clients regarding my photography work:

Kia ora Duncan.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for being a part of our BIG day. Your photos are just stunning. They perfectly capture the vibrancy and the atmosphere we worked so hard to create.

We love how you were adaptive to our style and embraced the challenges of our rather unique location and conditions - from sun glistening beach to sparklers in the moonlight.

Through all the celebration, the reflection and the ever so special moments between loved ones, you were quietly party, and you tenderly fixed those memories in time for us. There is literally a perfect snap of everyone that we especially love. For this, and the good humour you carried with you, we are so very grateful.

We couldn’t be happier to have had you at the heart of it all. You were just the right man for the job!
— Tess and Adam, New Zealand

Tess and Adam got married under blue skies and beside turquoise waters on Kuaotunu beach in New Zealand. It was simple, informal and an absolute pleasure to shoot. Although technically challenging, I couldn't have hoped for a more relaxed atmosphere and I am so glad they liked my photos.

We contacted Duncan very late as the photographer in the family was unable to get a visa. He was fantastic at putting us at ease by taking out the stress of last minute arrangements.

Duncan took a beautiful set of photos of our big day. He captured our ceremony at Stoke Newington Town Hall brilliantly and we also love our more intimate couple photos from the historic Abney Park and the reception at Elizabethan St Mary’s Church. Duncan got the people in the spaces in a way that was both personal and unintrusive. His style meant that we have a great set of shots of our wedding and natural photos of the people who mean a lot to us.

Duncan was professional and very quick in getting our photos to us. We would recommend him very highly. Thanks for recording our day so well and at such short notice!
— Haffie and Micky, London

I was very excited about shooting Haffie and Mickey's wedding because of the venue - Stoke Newington Town Hall. It's a gorgeous art deco building, featuring sweeping staircases and beautiful wood panelling. The happy couple were such fun to photograph too, so relaxed and cheerful. After the ceremony we sped off to a local cemetery which was a bit of a hidden gem; a fantastic, intimate place to get some more romantic shots. A brilliant day full of laughter and love.

Our wedding at the historic Guild Hall in King’s Lynn was a informal occasion with a small number of friends and relatives present. It was followed by a wedding breakfast and reception full of laughter and song.

We asked Duncan to take reportage style photos of ourselves and our guests to reflect the nature and style of the occasion. He captured the day perfectly. We really cherish the photos that he took of both the ceremony and the party afterwards.

We particularly loved the photograph of the winter sun coming through the mullion glass window on the guests and we would highly recommend him for anyone who wants creative and natural photographs of their wedding day.
— Gill and Mike, Norfolk

Gill and Mike's wedding was such fun to shoot, especially the reception. They invited guests to prepare a few words or a song rather than a conventional gift (something popular in the Netherlands apparently). This made for a true variety show and I particularly enjoyed getting shots of this part of the day.

Duncan managed to capture some really amazing moments throughout our wedding. On such a hectic and mad day it is almost impossible to take in all the funny, significant and bizarre goings on in a room full of family and friends. Duncan’s great snapshots captured many of those moments.

We are truly grateful for this and shall enjoy looking back on these wonderful images from our big day for many a year to come.
— Coco and Dan, London

Coco and Dan got married surrounded by friends and loved ones and I was very pleased to have been able to capture the spirit of the day. Islington Town Hall is a great place for a wedding, with the steps outside offering really cool group and confetti shots. Their reception also made for some memorable photography - top dancing all round!

We hired Duncan for one of our annual conferences and we were delighted with his photos. He was punctual, personable and highly professional. We have since hired him for other work. Most importantly, he understands our briefs and always exceeds expectations with his finished work.

We look forward to working with Duncan again in the near future – a genuine person and a very talented photographer.
— SSAT - The Schools Network, London

Hearing some of the speakers and photographing interaction and engagement between teachers at the SSAT Achievement Conference at Twickenham Stadium was a brilliant experience. The delegates were full of energy and drive to improve the way they enriched the educational lives of their students. Wonderful!
